Global African Investment Summit kicks off in London

October 20, 2014 - President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has addressed the\r\nGlobal African Investment Summit taking place in the British capital, London.
\r\n
\r\nThe 2-day Summit,\r\nchaired by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, seeks to direct funds\r\nfrom some of the world's largest institutional investors into projects across\r\nfive African countries, namely Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana and Togo.
\r\n
\r\nThe Summit has been\r\ndesigned as a platform for African governments to bring bankable projects to\r\nthe international market, targeting a range of investors.
