Certification of documents for transportation of remains of deceased persons to Uganda

1. Certification\r\nis done free of charge. Processing time is 2 working days.

\r\n\r\n

2. The\r\nfollowing original documents are required for certification:

\r\n\r\n

o    A Signed\r\nletter of request for certification from a responsible person e.g. A relative,\r\nan employer etc

\r\n\r\n

o    The\r\nPassport of the deceased.

\r\n\r\n

o    A Death\r\ncertificate.

\r\n\r\n

o    A\r\nCertificate of Embalmment.

\r\n\r\n

o    A Burial\r\npermit from the local authority where the deceased person resided.

\r\n\r\n

o    A\r\ncertificate of no contagious diseases.

\r\n\r\n

3.    The\r\ntransporting airline will advise the applicant on an appropriate casket.

\r\n\r\n

4.     Mailed\r\ndocuments should be accompanied by a prepaid self addressed return envelope.
